A mala is a garland of 108 beads used to count such things as the number of breaths taken while meditating or the number of times a mantra is recited. Malas are traditional tools used in the deeper practices of both Thai bodywork and yoga.
A mala can also represent a commitment to traditional practices, a link back to ourselves and our community as well as the belief that simple tools often have the greatest impact on heath and wellbeing.
Mala Room is owned and operated by Helen Hudson, co-owner of Wu Waves Wellness with her husband Matt Wierzba, LAc who can be found at The Heart of Bath Health Center.
Mala Room was founded in October 2016 by Helen Hudson and Jessica Dafni.
