I meet each client where they are and discuss personal health and wellness goals. I then use theoretical knowledge and tools from the Thai medical tradition and Pranakriya yoga tradition to access each client’s individual needs and treat them using Thai massage and/or yoga instruction.
I began my massage practice in 2009 in Bath, Maine at the Heart of Bath Health Center where my business partner and husband, acupuncturist Matthew Wierzba, LAc continues to practice. I have studied Thai massage with different teachers but most extensively at Naga Center, LLC in Portland, Oregon where I continue my commitment to study traditional Thai medicine.
I completed a 200 hour yoga teaching program at the Pranakriya School of Yoga Healing Arts in 2013 and have continued my education with advanced Pranakriya tranings. I continue to work towards my 500-hour advanced yoga teaching certification. I teach both group classes and privately.
Before finding my primary teachers and areas of specialization I received a Bachelors degree from the Honors College at the University of Oregon, in Eugene Oregon; and studied massage at Five Branches University, in Santa Cruz, California, and the Downeast School of Massage, in Damariscotta, Maine.
It is a great joy of mine to help people heal and feel their best. I look forward to working with you soon!
